Kicking off the first Burnside Park Beer Garden concert, local trumpeter/vocalist Eric Bloom has formed “The “Funky Autocrats”, one of Rhode Island’s newest & hottest funk group. Formed in 2011, Bloom brought together some of Rhode Island’s funkiest musicians with the sole purpose of playing the classic funk, R&B and soul songs rarely heard nowadays. This band will have you dancing and singing, perfect for enjoying music and the gorgeous summer days of Providence.
